Here are my Art Services …

Beret and Brush in the Spotlight

I had the incredible opportunity to be featured on Channel 3 “ Great Day Connecticut” with Scot Haney and Kara Sundlun. I had the chance to discuss my profession as a Live Wedding Painter. I’m incredibly greatful for the platform to share my artistry and the love stories i’ve been fortunate to paint.

Because the art in your life should have “You” in it……

As a freelance artist based in Connecticut, I have the privilege of turning life's blessings into painted keepsakes for my clients. My work is inspired by the beauty of nature, the joy of relationships , and the magic of everyday moments. Using a variety of mediums and techniques, I create custom pieces that capture the essence and personality of my subjects.

Whether it's a portrait of a beloved pet, a landscape that reminds you of home, or a still life of your favorite things, I approach each project with care and attention to detail. I believe that art should be accessible to everyone, which is why I offer a range of affordable options for my clients.

Meet the Artist

I’m Virginia Brown, the artist behind Beret and Brush LLC based out of central Connecticut. I’m a Freelance Artist. Which means I create art in a plethora of different ways. From Live Wedding Painting to Paint Parties. I also create Murals, Logos, and I take commissions to create one a kind gifts.

I cannot sit still. With so much beauty around me, I have to paint! It’s how God made me.

When I am not painting, I’m enjoying adventures with my husband Alex, snuggling with my two felines, shredding my local mountain on skis as a member of the Ski Patrol, training advantageously for a race, or embodying the ultimate couch potato catching up on my favorite shows.

Thank you for supporting me and my art. Believe me, this was never part of the plan when I envisioned my life. But thank God. That plan died because God had something better in mind. The parties I go to, the people I meet, the creativity that surrounds me… I couldn’t ask for a cooler job. And I am just getting started…

“Art is a collaboration between God and the artist, and the less the artist does, the better”

—Andre Gide .
